Jim Mac Farland hosts a regular monthly Singing Session in Tinney’s Bar, first Thursday, of every month.  All singers and listeners welcome.

On Thursday, 7th November, Len Graham, singer, collector & true champion of Ulster song is the special guest for the night. There will be no shortage of good songs in Derry from Len & the company.

Caroline Pugh, Meabh Meir and Myles McCormack are your hosts for a monthly evening singing session in Belfast. The first WEDNESDAY of the month from 8pm til late in the upstairs lounge of the Garrick Bar. The Inishowen Traditional Singers’ Circle is truly saddened by the death of our great friend, Dan McGonigle.  He was known to us all as a wonderful singer with a knowledge and love of songs that few can equal.  Dan loyally supported the Singers’ Circle at events at home and abroad, and was highly respected in all the sessions he graced.  His generosity was legendary – a man who shared what he had with all in his company and no arguments! Dan has left behind a legacy of songs that will live on memory and in the singers who will learn them in the coming years.  We are especially glad the Inishowen Song Project will host over 20 recordings of Dan in his prime – a fitting tribute to such a fine singer and true gentleman.  We have all been the happier and the wiser for having known Dan.
