ITSC Young Singers’ Bursary 2012

This year we especially welcome singers from Newcastle University in England and Armagh Pipers’ Club who join other recipients of bursaries from the University of Limerick & the University of Ulster at Magee.  As well as attending all the events, the students will perform during the weekend and take part in a dedicated masterclass with Len Graham.

Len will also spend time in Clonmany’s National Schools in the week running up to the March Festival, teaching songs to our even younger singers.

These bursaries and workshops are all part of our project, “It’s a fine thing to sing”, where we hope to inspire another generation to carry on the rich singing tradition of the Inishowen Peninsula.
