Inishowen Singing Weekend 4–7 March 2016

Around the world, the plans are being made for the big trip to Inishowen … trains, planes, and automobiles … buses and lifts.  For some it will be a new adventure with maps and sat nav and for others it’s a  journey that’s been oft repeated.

The Singers’ Circle has been planning and gearing up Guests 2016for months now and is delighted that a great line up of events and guests is in place.

We will celebrate all that is local and welcome new voices from other places.  As Ireland remembers 1916, we have asked our guest speakers to explore songs from Ireland and England of that period, to widen our appreciation of the songscape of these islands.
